“So, how did you get started in Redesign?”

For over two decades, I have had a passion for home decor. As early as my adolescent years, friends and family would consult with me on how to rearrange space to make it more appealing, comfortable and attractive. I often found that new furniture, accents and lighting were rarely needed in order to transform their homes into the warm, inviting place they had dreamed for it to be. Most often, I found that the items already available in their homes were useful and only needed to find their special place in the right room.

My mother taught me the love of beautiful things and most particularly, beautiful homes. She showed me the art of mixing and matching fabrics and textures with my clothes and bedroom when I was a small child. As a professional Interior Decorator, our home was often filled with objects d’arte and palettes of colors for each and every one of her clients.

After acquiring an education in interior design and photography, I became a nationally certified redesigner and home stager through the National Interior Redesign Industry Specialists. Their program enabled me to focus on the aspect of the design field that my talent, abilities and passion could best serve my clients.

From a mere passionate vocation, I have evolved my raw talent and education into a business of helping others discover a sanctuary that represents a unique balance of color, space, design and style. Whether it’s a paint consultation, design work, redesign or staging…..every client is different, and each opportunity presents its own set of challenges. My passion in this profession keeps growing with each new project. My clients make my work rewarding when they tell me how elated they are with their “new” efficient, inviting home atmosphere. Almost always, I hear that question pop up again, “So, how did you get started in Redesign?” and I begin my simple though cherished story about my passionate journey with beautiful homes.

Occupied Home Staging

We begin with a quick visit to the property to evaluate what is needed to stage the home. We will take photos and do a walk through with a punch list of things to do and or not do. We will then give you the option to “Do it yourself” and or charge you an hourly rate to do it for you. We then provide a price quote for staging the home based on your budget requirements.  Just remember, we will work with your budget, our whole goal is to help you cost effectively stage the property for sale. I have excellent resources for furniture , art work, lighting and accessories that we can select from for the property if needed.

Organizations

Do you wish you could stay on top of the incoming mail, kids,  homework assignment & papers or get out of the house faster in the Mornings? We can help you set up systems to manage your home better – create a “Landing Spot” when you arrive home, an outgoing system, etc… I work with a fabulous Partner in Organizing and Maximizing space within your home which gives you excellent options for creating a much needed home office. We specialize in Designing locations so you can more easily stay on top of running the business of your household. This will help you and your family get and stay Organized!
